which organizes EuroHiPeCo 2008,
welcomes fair guests and visitors.
Dear Sirs,
On behalf of the organisers,
Polish Pest Control Federation (PFPC) and Quality Promotion Office (BPJ) I cordially welcome all exhibitors and visitors to the IIIrd edition of International Fair of Food Safety,
Hygiene and Pest Control EuroHiPeCo 2008.
This is the third edition of this one and only branch event,
this year expanded by new aspects,
which can be easily reduced to a common denominator named public health protection.
Food safety at all stages of production and hygiene and pest control are subjects which are complementary and condition each other.
That is the reason why everyone close to subjects of public health have been invited to this years' Fair.
An equipment for liquidation of food safety threats will be presented during the Fair as well as for keeping high hygiene levels of inventory buildings,
food plants,
equipment for cleaning,
preparations,
protective clothes used during animal disease control.
Laboratories will be present at the Fair,
which test food and soil as well as plant,
animal and environment conditions.
There will be pharmaceutical companies producing and distributing preparations for animal health protection.
An offer of companies dealing with control and liquidation of pathogenic micro-organisms and pests will be presented.
Representatives of public administration as well as farmers and breeders being first link of 'field to table' chain,
have also been invited to the Fair.
Achievements and successes of companies and organisations in the field of food safety will be presented during the event.
They will be,
among others: The National Council of Agricultural Chambers,
Polish Federation of Food Industry (PFPZ),
The National Poultry Council – Chamber of Commerce (KRD-IG),
European Federation of Animal Sanitary Safety.
The Fair being interdisciplinary event join both commercial and educational aspect in its formula.
That is why conferences are important element of EuroHiPeCo 2008: 'Food safety in agricultural production' and 'How to understand food safety and quality in the times of strong market competition?',
in which both Polish and abroad experts will participate,
which indicates that in the times of globalisation food safety is our common interest.
We would also like to invite you to take part in workshops conducted within EuroHiPeCo 2008,
intended for DDD companies,
cleaning companies and everyone who would like to ensure themselves fruitful co-operation with representatives of those branches.
We hope that such broad formula of the event will fully fulfil requirements and expectations of exhibitors and visitors,
and that with Your presence the Fair will become an effective platform of experience exchange and will result in numerous commercial contacts as well as increasing level of consciousness about benefits resulting from caring for food safety and keeping high level of hygiene.
Having invited to the Fair I would also like to thank to institutions supporting EuroHiPeCo 2008 and which helped to organise the Fair and accompanying events.
